I can't believe Brady is 6 months old. On his half-birthday, I started to think about how it seems like just yesterday that I had him. I remember my first contraction, Sunday morning - in church! I remember going to the hospital Monday night around midnight (yes, that's 2 full days of contractions people! And he wasn't even born until Tuesday at 4:09 pm). I remember my water breaking and thinking I was going to be in labor for the rest of my life. I vividly remember being wheeled into the operating room and the sweet sound of his first cry. I will NEVER EVER forget the first time I saw him and got to hold him - who knew you could instantly love (well, love is not a strong enough word but I don't know of a better one), someone you just met.
Anyway, its like he's all grown up now (well not really, but they sure do change fast). Here are his most recent stats from his 6 month check-up:
Weight: 19 lbs, 2 oz (75%)
Height: 26.8 inches (75%)
Head: 17 inches (50%)
Physical Exam: A+
Development: A+ Excellent!!
Dr Nail went on and on about how well he's developing and that most 6 months old can't sit unsupported like Brady, and on and on. Maybe he was just trying to make me feel good, but it worked - I am so proud of my big boy!
Here are some pictures of Brady's First Thanksgiving and his first time seeing the christmas tree:
