9 months old

I just can't believe it - Brady is 9 months old already! We went to his 9 month check-up and just as I suspected, he is perfect in every way. They had me fill out a questionnaire (like 4 pages long) of everything that babies might be doing by 9 months. He was doing all of them (and I was honest - I promise!). Based on that and the doc's evaluation, he got all A+'s on his report card.

I love making lists - so here's a list of everything that's going on:

• Brady is officially crawling now. He took is first official crawl-step on his 9 month birthday and there has been no stopping him since.
• He has 4 teeth now. 2 on bottom and 2 on top, except the 2 on top are not next to each other, so he has a cute little space between his top 2 teeth
• He is pulling up on everything and starting to cruise the furniture (just barely though - he only takes 1, maybe 2, steps)
• He weighs 20 lbs, 8 oz (50%) and is 28" tall (50%)

For his 9 month birthday, we got him a new ducky bathtub and he really enjoys it. He had been in his little baby bathtub since birth, so we figured it was time to upgrade. Here are a few pictures:

Brady shared his 9 month birthday with his late Uncle Levi (who would have been 25). So, Uncle Levi got him some swimming trunks, a wetshirt and wetshoes (via MaLyn and Pa Roy) for his 9 month birthday. He tried on the swim trunks and chewed on the shoes, but we don't have a pic of the wetshirt just yet - that'll come later.
