2 Month Checkup

We just got back from Brady's 2 month checkup and the bottom line is....Brady is one healthy boy with a capital "H"! He got an A+ on his report card and is 24 inches long and weighs 14 lbs, 14 oz. That puts him in the 95% for height and & 97% for weight.

The doctor is not concerned about his weight (even though I was a little worried about him), but he said it is common for babies to get pretty chuncky and then they start to lean out as they get taller and start to crawl around and be more active.
He also got his first round of vaccinations today. He only cried for a minute and then he calmed down really fast. Please pray with us that he will be OK. Some of you might know that there is alot of debate and controversy in the media right now about when and what vaccinations to give babies. After all of our research, talking to the doctor and praying about it, we decided to get Brady vaccinated on schedule (the schedule according to the American Academy of Pediatrics). As with anything in life, there are always risks, so we are just relying on our faith that Brady will take the vaccinations with no adverse side affects. He is doing good right now, he's just really sleepy. They also gave him some baby tylenol, so that is making him sleepy too.
That's about it! He is just growing and changing so much and I fall more in love with him everyday.
